This error "E-08" means the CircuPool SmartFlo pump detected that it received insufficient voltage, described in the manual as "Absolute AC Under Voltage Detected: This indicates that the supply voltage has dropped below the operating range of 200v.". This message can occur normally, like for the few moments after the breaker is turned off you might see this code as there is still some residual power in the motor. If all power is removed from the pump, and then normal power is restored to it, you will not see this error message at start-up. If power is removed from the pump and then shortly restored while the pump still had some residual power, this would be an instance of "voltage sag" which the error message is designed to catch. In this case, the error message will remain until the pump is turned off by completely removing power from it, and then restoring power to it (at the breaker, for example).
If this continue to happen, you will likely want to investigate the power source, as it might indicate continuing inconsistencies or instances of "voltage sag", like if there is a wiring problem or other issue with the way in which insufficient power is being supplied to the pump. It is important to protect the motor and electronics from situations like this.
