The lifespan of Universal40's cell is unique to the pool that it is installed on, and can often range 3-5 years, sometimes more, sometimes less. Any given salt cell is subject to its capacity relative to the pool size, climate, water chemistry, length of season, bather load, and other variables. This model has a four year limited warranty.
