Every pool requires a different amount of sanitation, so the exact run time or chlorine output setting that your pool may need will be unique. The average pool with a single-speed pump often gets 8-12 hours of run time, which is usually sufficient for a properly sized salt chlorinator. If you have warm water, lots of sun, heavy pool use, etc... you may want a even higher capacity system.
