Roughly speaking, the system is adjustable so that you should be able to achieve your pool's balancing needs without needing to adjust a typical pool system's run time. The main consideration is sizing your CO2 tanks based on your pool size so that you don't need to refill it frequently. There is a sizing chart in the description.
