Tech support can help you access the internal maintenance menu to down grade your system to an RJ45, but downgrading is almost never advisable - especially if you are struggling with chlorine levels. The small initial cost savings on a smaller cell usually pales in comparison to the lifetime savings of a higher capacity cell.
