To make it convenient for service, I would give yourself at least 24" of space above your piping. This kit and the RJ cell should work the same in either orientation.
I have limited amount of space for a vertical installation. What is the height needed for a vertical install? If the unit cannot fit vertically, can it be installed horizontally using this vertical install kit? Thank you. CircuPool® Vertical Installation Kit Brand Adapter Kits
