Salt reading 0000 CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorine Generators - Owner Resources Universal Series

I just hooked up my new system and added the proper amount of salt. I have turned on the salt generator for about 10 hours now. My reading continues to be zero on parts per million. I have a greenlight for generating salt , but the number has stayed on zero.
