When the CircuPool® Universal55 Salt Chlorine Generator displays a "Cold" or "Hot" message, it typically indicates that the salt cell might be dirty, blocked, or that the temperature sensor inside the cell is malfunctioning. The initial step is to check and clean the cell. If this doesn't resolve the issue, refer to the attached instructions, starting from Step 2 on Page 2, to clear the error message and restart the system. It's crucial to then contact our Technical Support team, who can guide you through a warranty claim for a Temperature/Flow Switch. This switch will finalize the repair. The first page of the instructions details how to install the Temp/Flow Switch with no need for replumbing or pipe cutting. Please only operate your salt chlorinator temporarily in this way until the switch is installed.
