If you notice that the salinity readings from your CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorinator differ from independent salinity tests, there are immediate steps to take. Firstly, retest your pool water using different testing methods or even take samples to several pool stores. Secondly, verify the "cell type" on the System Status readout to ensure it matches your salt cell. Lastly, check that your salt cell is clean. If the cell type is correct, the cell is clean, and the salinity discrepancy is several hundred ppm or less, keep an eye on the readings. However, if the discrepancy exceeds several hundred ppm or a solid high or low salt warning light appears, then contact our technical support team at (888) 206-9938.
