It is very common to use the CircuPool SmartFlo pump and the TJ16 prefilter on permanently-installed (non-inflatable) above ground pools. The plumbing ports for each model are 2" PVC slip fittings, so if you uses smaller pipe or hoses, you would just need to get the appropriate plumbing adapters during installation.
