When a CircuPool RJ Plus Series Salt Chlorinator is in operation and generating chlorine, the amperage reading on the digital display will usually fluctuate between 2.5 and 7.8 amps. This amperage can be represented as either a positive or negative figure, indicating the specific polarity at which the device is operating. If the amperage reads 0.0 and no solid red lights are visible on the control panel, it may indicate that the chlorinator is in a "rest" cycle. To confirm, temporarily increase the chlorinator's output to 100% ("Power Max") and observe the amperage after approximately one minute.
