That is correct - this aftermarket cell has the same length and threads so you simply unscrew the old one from the plumbing, xxxx this cell in place, and then plug this new cell in to the power center. A power center currently using the "t-9" cell type will be compatible with this aftermarket cell, or if you wish to upgrade to the higher capacity GEN15 aftermarket cell, you would simply change the cell type setting to the "t-15" option.
