Would the CircuPool® Universal 55 be ok for a 25, 000 gallon pool? Would this larger unit be beneficial or too large for the pool? CircuPool® Universal55 Salt Chlorine Generator Universal Series
Oversizing is always a wise choice. At a minimum, a salt system should be sized at 1.5-2 times the pool volume. In your case, that would mean a system with a stated capacity of 37,500 to 50,000 gallons, with the low end being for temperate climates and the high end of the range if you are located across the southern part of the country. In short, the Universal 55 would be an excellent choice.
