The CircuPool Universal series salt chlorine generators are versatile units that operate on either 110 or 220 volts. The control modules come pre-configured for 220 volts, but owners can manually reconfigure them to operate on 110 volts if necessary.
The same power cord serves either voltage setting. For 220 volt installations, the Black and White wires are "Hot" and the Green wire is "Ground." For 110 voltage installations, after following the reconfiguration instructions on page 18 of the owner's manual, the Black wire remains "Hot," the Green wire is "Ground," and the White wire becomes "Neutral." BTW, always treat a White wire as "Hot," even when it's serving as Neutral in a 110 volt connection.
To the extent that you wish to follow NEC conventions for a 240 volt installation, consider wrapping a strip of Red or Black electricians' tape around the end of the White wire serving as a "Hot."
