What you're currently viewing is the initial average salinity display, which you should disregard for the moment. By this point, you should have added enough salt to achieve the standard operating range of 3,000-4,000 ppm. Once you've reached this, activate the system and let it run for a few minutes. Ensure the yellow output dial is turned to 100% before you press the System Status button. Specifically, verify that the current feeding the cell is above 20 amps, the voltage is in single digits (either positive or negative), the cell type is F9, and that the instantaneous salinity is consistent with your water test. Additionally, there should be no red lights illuminated. If these conditions are met, your system is functioning correctly, and the average salinity reading will update from the initial 3100 reading over the next 24 hours. If any red lights are present, or if the voltage, amperage, or cell type is incorrect, reach out to technical support at (866) 766-5243.
