My Control Module displays jumbled numbers in System Status menu. CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorine Generators - Owner Resources Universal Series

I have a CircuPool Universal unit and it seems the operation is okay. Problem is Control Module unit is supposed to give readings when system status button is pushed. A bunch of jumbled numbers come up but do not correspond with what the manual says they should be. For instance No 1 should show pool temperature; it does not. No 4 says should show chlorine percentage output; it does not. What is the problem? Do I have a bad Control Module?
