why after cleaning my cell does the cell maintenance light flash? CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorine Generators - Owner Resources Universal Series

I have cleaned the cell multiple times and the cell maintenance light still flashes yellow and I am not sure why. is there some type of reset after you clean it?

A flashing Check Cell light is a reminder that your cell needs to be cleaned. The reminder needs reset after cleaning. Press and hold the System Status button in for 10-15 seconds and the reminder will reset and the flashing light will stop.
