Yes, you can switch to a smaller salt cell with the CircuPool EDGE Series Salt Chlorinator. Please see attached instructions. However, if you are switching to a lower output cell, be certain that you still meet or exceed the guidelines for proper sizing. Specifically, will you still have a cell that is rated for 1.5 times the pool volume (2 times in the warmer southern states)?
