If your CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorinator is registering a materially incorrect salinity level, then even before confirming the actual salinity, you should access the System Status menu and see which cell type is displayed. For the Universal models 25, 40, and 55, the Cell Type should be, respectively, F-9, F-15, and t-15.
If the cell type is correct, confirm the pool's salinity with two or more tests using different pool stores and/or test devices in order to rule out a bad test. If the confirmed salinity and displayed salinity differ materially, then call our technical support team weekdays at (888) 206-9938 between 9-4:30 Central.
