If your CircuPool Universal Series or RJ PLUS Series Salt Chlorinator is displaying Cell Voltage in the 20s, Cell Amps (Current) in the single digit range (+ or -), and there are no red warning lights, then you can assume chlorine is being produced. However, if you're experiencing low chlorine that can't be handled by raising the chlorinator's output, then you should obtain a full pool store water test including phosphates and (if possible) nitrates in order to troubleshoot what will be a "water problem." Armed with the test numbers, consult the owner's manual and review recommendations on water chemistry or call our technical support team at (888) 206-9938 weekdays between 9-4:30 Central and they can assist you in troubleshooting your problem.
