We understand that you're experiencing issues with your CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorinator. A "Hot" message with cool water suggests a temperature sensor failure. Don't worry, this can be resolved easily. Please follow the instructions starting at Step 2 on page 2 to install the Temperature/Flow Switch. This will allow your system to operate on a default temperature. Next, contact our technical support team at (888) 206-9938. They will aid you with procuring a Temperature/Flow Switch, applying your warranty coverage, if applicable. You'll be glad to know that you don't need to alter your plumbing. The new switch fits into the existing "Tee fitting". Once installed, the new switch will send temperature data to the control module and the repair will be complete. Remember, do not undo the internal change you made to the control module.
