Display says hot CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorine Generators - Owner Resources Universal Series

I moved the plastic thing in my control panel over to the left. Does this mean that my temperature reading will no longer work? Do I need a flow switch? If I install a new flow switch do I move the jumper back?

When your CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorinator issues a high temperature warning, the initial step is to move the jumper inside the control module, as you've done. This adjustment allows your system to operate under a default temperature reading. For further assistance, please contact CircuPool customer service at (888) 766-5243 on weekdays between 9-4:30 Central. Have your serial number from the Control Module (CM) ready. Our technical support team can arrange for a Temperature/Flow Switch to provide accurate temperature readings to the CM. Ensure the jumper stays in its new position, enabling the CM to receive temperature data from the switch instead of the cell.
