Is it okay or advisable to run the ozone generator 24 hours per day?
CircuPool® INDIGO3-XL Ozone Generator for Swimming Pools
INDIGO3 Series
For my ~18000 gallon outdoor pool in South Texas, I have a variable speed pump that runs on a program which reduces RPM considerably during certain hours but never stops running. Will running the ozone generator 24 hours per day cause premature failure of components or insane electricity costs? Is it recommended?

As you are probably aware, the CircuPool® INDIGO3-XL Ozone Generator for Swimming Pools is a powerful sanitizing device that efficiently reduces the load on your Salt Chlorinator by providing supplemental water purification. However, it leaves no residual protection, making it unsuitable as the sole method of sanitation. Technically, any operation of the system will both wear the equipment and consume electricity. Your best course of action is to identify a suitable timer to schedule the Ozone system's operation to the times of day and length of time of your choice.
