If your CircuPool® Universal Series Salt Chlorinator is showing a solid green Generate light and no red lights, it’s likely functioning correctly. To be sure, temporarily increase the output level to 100%. After a minute at this setting, access the System Status menu to confirm that the Cell Voltage is in the 20s and the Cell Current is between 2.5-7.8 amps. It's normal for the cell current to display as either positive or negative due to the system’s polarity-switching feature, which helps reduce the need for acid washing the salt cell.
If you notice any red lights or if the voltage or current readings are outside their normal ranges, please contact us at (888) 206-9938. Our technical support team is available Mon-Thu: 9-4:30 (CST) or Fri: 9-3 pm (CST) to assist you. If you observe only green lights and the voltage and current readings are appropriate, obtain a current pool store water test, including phosphate levels, and call us for further assistance.
