In the CircuPool Universal series of saltwater chlorinators, if you see a 'SLO' warning, it indicates a low salt level. However, before adding more salt, validate the salinity with a separate test. As a new installation, the salt may not be fully dissolved yet.
It's also crucial to check the System Status menu to ensure it shows the correct Cell Type. For the Universal 25, 40, and 55, the cell types should be F-9, F-15, and t-15, respectively. You may receive incorrect salinity readings if the cell type is incorrect. Follow this video to reset the cell type.
Normally, you would also want to clean the cell, but you indicate that it is brand new and straight out of the box, so you can skip this.
