If your CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorinator displays a flashing High Salt light, it indicates the detected salinity level is nearing its maximum limit. While operation will continue, it's crucial to ensure the salinity remains within range. First, test your pool's salinity and compare it to the instantaneous reading from the System Status menu. If the results differ by no more than a couple hundred parts per million, consider partially draining and refilling the pool to maintain salinity levels between 3,000 and 4,000 ppm. If there's a significant discrepancy, verify the salinity using an additional testing method. Should it appear that the Universal system is misreading the salinity, ensure the correct Cell Version is displayed in the System Status menu.
