Can you plug the control module into a 110 outlet if you install a plug? CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorine Generators - Owner Resources Universal Series

I am thinking I can put a plug on the wire coming from the control module and plug it into a 110 outlet after changing the jumper. Is that permissible?

Yes, with the addition of a plug on the power cord, a CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorinator can be plugged straight into a 110/120 volt power outlet. Since these Salt Chlorinators ship configured for 220/240 volts, they must be manually switched to 110/120 following the owner's manual or the attached instructions. Always ensure a unit configured for 110/120 is never connected to 220/240.
