I just installed the GEN15 and its reading high salt levels
CircuPool GEN-Series Aftermarket Replacement Cells - Owner Resources
Aftermarket Replacement Cells fitting Hayward® / Goldline®
It replaced the Hayward TCELL 940. All chemistry is correct. At installation the salt level was verified independently to be 3400 ppm. After 48 hrs the level read 3800 ppm. At 72 hrs it read 4000 ppm. Trying to calibrate the cell does not work because it never goes below 4000. Surprisingly it continues generating. When does the high salt warning kick in???

The high salt light starts flashing when the salt level is detected over 3400 on the Hayward Aquarite, but a flashing high salt light does mean it is still making chlorine. If the high salt light turns solid red it has stopped generating chlorine. Please verify you are on the T-15 cell type, if it is on a smaller cell type it will read higher than it should on the salt level. If there is still an issue please contact us at 888-206-9938.
