It is not typically recommended to house a controller inside another box as needs airflow to operate correctly. Too much heat will cause the system to shut down. If you do this, it would require adequate ventilation.
Can I install the RJ30 unit inside a junction box
Can the control box be installed inside a waterproof junction box? I want to have it installed inside a large junction box along with the breakers and the timer.
