The controller should be set to the correct cell type but to be sure turn the controller off. Then hold down the adjust button until you see the output adjustment lights come on. The Edge40 cell should have all 8 led lights displayed, if it doesn't push the adjust button until all 8 lights are on. Then you can wait for the lights to turn off, then power it on again and it will be set correctly.
