New RJ45+. Generate light on,no error lights,but NO chlorine ever,Amps= -0.00, 12.xx Volts, salt 3340 w/ teststrip
I replaced my RJ45 Classic,(which I absolutely loved), after about 10 yrs, with New RJ45+. When I turn it on, it says "Generating", but does not produce any Chlorine. Salt Level is at 3340 using new test strips. NO error lights come on.. It reads 12. something volts and -0.00 Amps. I tried the set it to MAX procedure, but still does not generate Chlorine and still no AMPS, so NO Chlorine.. With my RJ 45 Classic, I could always see the "cloud" of Chlorine being producd and pouring out of the cell. This shows NO SALT Level,(0000), though did show 3400 when I first tried to run it. The new wiring I hooked up exactly the same as the previous (RJ45 Classic). The FLOW Switch did flicker once or twice when I started back up after adding Salt to get close to 3400. but I think that was just at start up till the Pump had good even flow. I know my RJ45 Classic generated even if it was a bit under 3400, like after backwashing a few times.but I would think that the 3340 on my test strip now should have been OK. Anyway, any ideas?.
