No, it would be detrimental and not recommended to attempt to infuse CO2 into a different part of your pool plumbing. The system infuses the CO2 in the pump so that the gas fully gets absorbed and you generate the maximum amount of carbonic acid (instead of losing CO2 via unabsorbed bubbles if the system were to be connected to the plumbing elsewhere).
