A pump like the Hayward SP2607X10 1.1hp is listed to have about 60–75 GPM max output flow depending on head pressure. This is well within the specifications for the CJ-2750 Cartridge Filter which can easily handle 100 GPM flow. Similarly, the capacity of the CJ-2750 to hold dirt and debris would typically enough or more than enough for typical pool sizes which would utilize that size pump (this ensure you are not likely to have to clean it frequently).
