You'll program the CircuPool SmartFlo Adaptive Flow™ pump based on your pool system's needs to provide proper circulation, filtration, turnover, and run times that allow your other pool equipment to operate. The SmartFlo Adaptive Flow pumps are easy to set up if you use the app. Once you have determined when your pump will be running, you'll want to ensure your salt chlorinator is able to work and generate chlorine while the pump is operating. Most newer salt chlorinators have flow switches, which allow them to activate / deactivate when the pump starts / stops running. If you have an older salt chlorinator, OR, if you want to reduce the run time on your salt chlorinator, you can also put the salt system on its own timer, which is programmed to run for less time within the pumps run time.
