Cell replacements should typically last many years. Please speak with our support team to go over the details of your pool system, setup, and maintenance. We would like to help you come closer to achieving expected results. It would also be important to clarify what you mean or what you specifically see occurring:
Are you seeing any warning lights on the controller? Most of the time warning lights will have specific causes and the light will go away if you fix the underlying issue. Common examples:
Are there no warning lights and you just aren't getting enough chlorine in the water? This is typically a chemical balance and/or setup issue (ex: not being run at a high enough setting), and this can be addressed (see low chlorine troubleshooting guide)
Is the Cell Life Low warning light coming on? See important information about this under Cell Life Low in the manual. This function is like an odometer and comes on based on the number of hours you run the system. If you have atypically long run times and are running it 24/7, you may reach its threshold to alert you but you may not have any other warning indicators and should continue to use the cell to create chlorine until it is depleted and you get errors that indicate it is not generating chlorine.
Is there physical damage to the cell? If so we can help troubleshoot what might have happened and potentially prevent this.
Lastly, be sure you have seen the "How do I know when I need to replace my cell" section of the manual to help give a more complete picture of what should be expected.
