After the pool pump shuts off the display no flow red light comes on & the unit shuts off. However later on the sal CircuPool Universal Series Salt Chlorine Generators - Owner Resources Universal Series

However, later on the no flow light goes off & I can hear the salt generator unit is on but the pump is still off. Why does the no flow light turns off when no water is flowing. I’m having to manually turn off the unit to keep it from running without any water flow.

If the "no flow" light does not come on and the salt system does not stop operation at the same time that your pump stops running, please immediately discontinue use and leave the salt system off. Do not allow it to run if the water is not flowing. Please contact our support team as soon as possible to help determine why the flow switch is sending a signal to the controller when the water is not running. It is possible that something that made it past the pool filter is physically causing the switch to be triggered, or potentially the switch itself could have an atypical issue and need to be replaced.
