Both are effective, highly-engineered salt chlorine generators.
The CORE-series salt chlorinator is the more compact, integrated system. It can be installed in as little as 10-15 minutes, and can utilize a plug-in power source for simplicity or it can be direct wired. Its control module mounts directly to the cell housing, and the removable titanium electrode can be serviced or cleaned using the included cleaning vessel without removing the complete housing from the plumbing. It has advanced sensors and precise and actionable status indicators. It also includes CellSaverâ„¢ technology and carries a 8-year limited warranty.
The RJ-series salt chlorinator is the more traditional two-piece design, with a wall-mounted control module connected to a clear inline cell by a cord. It is an excellent choice where you prefer a separate, easy-to-access controller location or need its broader range of model sizes and higher chlorine output capability. Its screen allows it display diagnostic data and for more fine-tuned control. RJ-PLUS models have long lifespan cells and carry a 7-year limited warranty.
Choose the CORE if you want the most compact, streamlined installation, especially easy cell maintenance, overall simplicity, and the longer warranty. Choose the RJ if your equipment pad is better suited to a separate wall-mounted controller, if you want higher chlorination capacity, or more fine-tune control. Both deliver reliable salt chlorination; the best choice for many revolves around installation layout, capacity, and preferred design.
