E‑03 means “Deceleration Over Current.” It is a motor/drive protection fault that occurs when the pump detects excessive electrical current as the motor is slowing down—not a normal flow or scheduling warning. A qualified individual can perform the following troubleshooting.
First, turn power to the pump off at the breaker and wait until all keypad LEDs are off, then restore power. Also check and clear the pump basket and skimmer basket, and make sure there is no obvious debris or restriction affecting the impeller or circulation.
If after restoring operation E‑03 returns repeatedly, the manual identifies it as an internal fault that can be related to the pump’s rotating components, such as the impeller, mechanical seal, or bearings. At that point, the pump should be inspected by a qualified service person rather than repeatedly reset. Please contact CircuPool Support with the pump’s serial number and even a photo/video of the error if further help is needed.
