You cannot plug the CircuPool GEN15+ into a Pentair Intellichlor IC40 power supply, and it also won't correctly connect to your existing unions. The GEN15+ is an aftermarket replacement cell for Hayward AquaRite T-15 type cells.
If you have an existing IC40, and it was sized right for your pool (it had sufficient chlorine output capacity), then you could consider the CircuPool CORE35 along with its adapter kit for Pentair Intellichlor unions. You could simply connect the CORE35's power cord to a nearby weather-protected outlet, and easily connect it to the piping with that adapter, allowing you to put the new system in almost effortlessly.
