The CircuPool SmartFlo Adaptive Flow® Pump is compatible with saltwater chlorine generators which have a flow switch and/or are on a timer programmed to run at the same times that the pump is programmed to circulate water. If you have a very old CircuPool salt chlorinator like a RJ Classic or SJ classic model without a flow switch, you would need to coordinate their operation with a timer for the salt chlorinator. If you have newer CircuPool salt chlorinators with flow switches, these get triggered by the pump's water flow; timers can also be used for an additional level of coordination.
