How do I disconnect the cell cord from the cell module when cleaning the cell on my CircuPool RJ PLUS salt chlorinator? CircuPool RJ-PLUS Series Salt Chlorine Generators - Owner Resources RJ PLUS-Series Replacement Cells

My husband NEVER does this and I’d like to be able to do it myself. I just installed a new keypad myself so I’m sure I could do this too.

To disconnect the cell cord from the cell module, turn off all power to the pump/filter system and salt system, then completely disconnect the Cell Cord from the Control Module by unscrewing the small lock ring which holds the Cell Cord securely in place to the Control Module. Once this lock ring is unscrewed, you can unplug the Cell Cord by gently pulling down on the end of the cable. To remove the Cell from the plumbing, unscrew the two threaded collars at the inlet and outlet side of the cell before.
