No, there are no additional power relays built in to the pump's control module. The CircuPool Universal40 will automatically begin to generate / stop generating when the pump begins to circulate / stops circulating based on the Universal40's flow switch. You can set an additional level of coordination by putting the salt chlorinator on a timer which has the same daily programming as the pump. You can see information about wiring the Universal40 in its product manual. Please let us know what other questions you might have.
