The standard installation for a salt chlorinator is for it to be on the same timer as the pump, so if you have the timer it would be ideal to hook the salt chlorinator up to it.
I have a timer on my pump. Does the generator need to be on a timer also or is it ok to just let the flow switch shut down the unit when the pump is off? CircuPool® RJ-45 PLUS Salt Chlorine Generator RJ PLUS Series
