Is this filter adequate for a pool of 30000gallons and is it for above ground pool?

This variable speed pump can be used with both inground and permanently-installed aboveground pools. Depending on your pool's needs, a 30k pool is probably the top end of its range to get its full benefits - you may want to consider the next size up (2.0 THP).
