I have an inground 11,500gal (estimate) pool. I have a 100 sq ft cartridge filter. All visible plumbing is 1-1/2" PVC. The current pump motor is 1 HP single speed. I would like to upgrade to a VS pump to run 8 hrs per day and turn the pool over 2x/day. I'm also considering the RJ-20PLUS SWCG. What size motor should I use - the 1.5, 2.0 or the 3.0HP??? Also, do you agree with the RJ-20 or should I go with the RJ-30?

The larger motor will be able to move more water in a shorter amount of time. For salt chlorinators, a larger capacity means it gets less wear-and-tear, lasts longer, and allows you to turn it up to create more chlorine on demand if problems arise. That would probably be the best value.
