It's about 2 amps as it is designed to be on the same circuit as the pump so they get turned on and off together. It does have a flow switch, but that wiring is ideal. The controller is about 12 x 9 x 5.
I’m thinking about changing over to a SWJ system, mainly due to issues with chlorine this year. Looking at a UL40.. 1) at 120v, how many amps does it pull? 2) does the plug in model need to be on a timer with the pump? Or is it smart enough to not work when there is no flow? 3) what are dimensions of the control box? CircuPool® Classic Combo (Salt Chlorinator + Pump) Universal Series
