Hello. I have an RJ-60+ which is rated at 300W, so presumably it only draws 1.36A at 220V. However, the manual also mentions the cell current ranging between 2.5 and 7.8 amps. I can also see the cell current displayed when I cycle through the menu options. For example, at 50%, it shows 5.7 amps. I'm assuming this cell current is different from the load on the circuit breaker. Can you confirm please? View answer

I have a SJ-series system 4 years ago. works great. I just had a variable speed pool pump installed. It goes threw its own internal timers. does the SJ- series have a built in flow switch sensor built in. Worried about the unit coming on via the old pool timer without the new pump running? I have a variable speed pump. The question is, when I am at the low speed I suspect the flow will not be enough for the flow switch to read so it will not produce salt. Is this correct? Will this harm the system? If I purchase this my plan is to set the pump speeds to get the chlorine level I need. Pool is 15000 gallons View answer

I bought a house with a 26qft pool. I'm trying to learn to control the salt chlorinator (SJ series) for my pool. The water is murky now, with algae. All parameters are ok (I check regularly), except chlorine and free chlorine levels, which are at 0. How do I know that the cell actually works? Is there a documentation regarding the controller? the left bottom green light has been blinking. Also, how is this controller related to the pump? I have Hayward controller for the pump, and I'm clueless here too. Please help. View answer

We're thinking of replacing out Hayward with this system. Can we reply on the flow switch to turn the chlorinator on and off? The pump is always powered, but has an internal controller as well as variable speed. We can have reduced flow as well as no flow during parts of the day. Will this hurt your system? Thank you in advance. View answer
