Being a consumable part, a salt cell's lifespan is wholly dependent on the size of the pool it gets installed on, how it is used and maintained, etc... and can be in the range of 3-10 years. Since salt cells are consumable parts, they have limited warranties that reflect the fact that they wear out as they work. Typically this means proration, and each model's warranty can be found in the manual linked in the product description.
