Why does display show temp high message when trying to adjust chlorinator? Our water temperature is around 83 CircuPool RJ-PLUS Series Salt Chlorine Generators - Owner Resources RJ PLUS Series

We had our pool company install our salt cell in 2021 . It has always showed our salt levels higher than readings we get when having our water tested. Now our readout shows temp high when trying to adjust the chlorinator based on our last water sample showing we need more chlorine. Is this a sensor that went bad possibly? Our pool water is currently 83 degrees. Thank you.

That is atypical but it sounds like you may have a bad temperature sensor, there is a fix for that and it is covered under the limited warranty based on when it was purchased. Please give our tech support a call @ 888-206-9938.
