CORE55 has 55000 hour lifespan and the RJ-60 is only 15000 are they rated the same? Will CORE55 last 3 times more? Salt Chlorinators

Both models are fairly comparable, but the CORE55 has a lifespan of 55,0000 hours per your site while the RJ-60 is only listed as 15,000 hours. Is this the life of the cell for each? Are they both rated that they would run at 100% for the hours listed? It would seem to me you would need 3 times the surface area of the cell in order to make it last 3 times as long.

The Core55 means it will handle up to 55K gallons, not that it has a 55K hour lifespan.The RJ Plus series and the Core series have similar hours of lifespan in the cell so you can expect to get approximately the same amount of life on either model.
